Not drinking proper amount of water can lead to dehydration. It can also lead to premature aging or wrinkle formation on skin .
I am sure you all have started making your summer essentials list of fruits and drinks . Well if not, i am here to share some of some of the quick and easy watermelon recipies to beat dehydration and this summer.
Why watermelon is a must-have summer fruit ?
Watermelon is a highly refreshing fruit with low calories .It provides hydration, essential nutrients including vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
It can be served in the form of smoothies , juice , salad. etc.
Watermelon is 90% water which makes this fruit highly useful for staying hydrated the whole day.It contains- Lycogpene, vit A , vit C, Pottasium, etc

QUICK AND EASY WATERMELON RECIPES
Recipe no 1: Watermelon drink
Ingredients:
- Lemon
- Watermelon
- Ice cubes
Method:
Grab a fresh lemon and roll it against cutting board. Cut it into 2 slices and squeeze it into a bowl. Then take refrigerated watermelon and remove its seeds .Take a blender jar put watermelon and lemon juice and blend it to make a puree .Pour it through a strainer then add some salt, black salt(masala if need) .At last add ice cubes and stir well .
Also: you can add mint leaves for better taste (don.t forget to muddle the mint leaves)
Recipe 2: Rose and watermelon sharbat
Ingredients :
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- few ice cubes
- refrigerated watermelon
- 4 tsp rose syrup
- few mint leaves
Method:
Cut the refrigerated watermelon into cubes and Remove the seeds (or you can do this before refrigeration) Now put the watermelon cubes into a jar , add rose syrup, little water and some ice cubes. Garnish it with mint leaves and enjoy.
Recipe 3:Mohabbat ka Sharbat:
Ingredients:
- milk (500mg)(chilled)
- sugar (1/2 cup)
- 3tsp rose syrup
- 1 cup watermelon(chopped)
- 1 cup watermelon juice
- ice cubes
Method:
Mix chilled milk , sugar and rose syrup in a jar. Add watermelon and chilled water, mix it well .Lastly add ice cubes and serve immediately.
